About Us
Uxbridge
Recycling works with a total commitment to diverting waste away from
landfill. The success of our waste transfer station and the continued
investment in sorting facilities is empowering a very diverse customer
base to recycle and strengthen their green credentials.
Our policy is to ensure that
every opportunity to recycle is found and offered to our customers thus
ensuring a reliable and decisive route away from
landfill. The aim is a 0% landfill strategy and mechanical
and manual sorting techniques are helping us to reach our
goal. We realise that this aim, albeit very creditable, may
be some time before it is accomplished but, such is our
focus, the company is constantly seeking new associations and
partnerships in an effort to achieve it. Indeed, in the first half of
2009 our efforts to recycle improved our figures by a stunning 15%
over the previous year in materials crossing our weighbridge being
returned for another use.
The trommel at work sorting smaller waste streams In the sphere of our operations, the personnel
delivering our fleet of skip lorries and waste transfer station
operations are central to the effective and dynamic services being
brought to each of our clients doorsteps. From domestic use to major
construction projects, the flexibility of the skip
waste service is growing in its capacity to satisfy the
UK market and no other method of carriage seems to be able to
reach the targets being met by this system. That is why Uxbridge
Recycling is investing further in the market.
